I don't understand this - perhaps someone could explain?

I received a message from eBay today (July 12th), headed MC015 Important Message from eBay Loss Prevention Department.

It tells me not to proceed with a purchase as it has been removed.

But the listing ended on July 6th, I paid for it the same day, and it arrived on July 9th. There were no problems at all with this transaction.

I don't see the point of sending me a message saying not to proceed so long after the purchase has been completed.
